Casting circulating water cooling system

The process flow of the casting circulating water system is as follows:


1. The disc casting machine cools back to the water (including spray back water, water tank back water) through the culvert B1000×1800 self-flow to the sewage pool for sedimentation. The precipitated supernatant was sent to a three-stage GFNDP-600 cooling tower through a 180 kW 300BPFZ-BD3 type unsealed self-priming self-priming pump (sewage pump), cooled, and then flowed into a cold water tank for recycling in a disc casting system. Since the recycled water is not only contaminated by heat but also contains copper particles and other oxides, it is circulated through three GZG400-10 steel self-cleaning filter pairs installed on the sewage pump outlet pipe before circulating back into the cold water pool. The water is filtered back, and the filtered water is returned to the cooling tower. The cooling tower and the self-cleaning filter are respectively provided with a D426×6 bypass line for temporarily passing water during the filter inspection.


2. The sprayer cooling water of the casting machine is pressurized by the BP0150-570 single-stage double-suction medium-opening volute centrifugal pump (spray pump) installed on the south side of the cold water tank, through a D529×10 water supply pipeline. For the casting machine spray cooling water. The power of a single pump is 200kW and the maximum water supply is 620m3/h. The cooling water required for spraying in a single casting machine is 550m3/h, the water supply pressure is 0.8MPa, the cooling return water volume is 500 m3/h, and the cooling back water is pressureless.


3. The cooling water of the casting machine cooling water tank is 340m3/h. The BP0150-280 single-stage double-suction medium-opening volute centrifugal pump (sink feed pump) set on the south side of the cold water tank pressurizes the water in the cold pool through a D426. ×6 Steel pipe is supplied to the casting machine to cool the water tank. The power of a single pump is 37kW and the maximum water supply is 609m3/h. The cooling water required for cooling the water tank of a single casting machine is 340m3/h, the water supply pressure is 0.2MPa, the cooling back water is 310m3/h, and the cooling back water is pressureless.


4. The cold water pool is 25m long, 10m wide and 3m high. It is located on the other side of the road on the north side of the lagoon. The enclosed building has an observation hole at the top. Three cooling towers are installed above, and the cooled circulating water is returned to the cold water pool for storage. Considering heavy rain and other causes, the amount of water in the circulating water system is increasing. The cold water pool is provided with an overflow hole. When the liquid level exceeds the overflow hole, the cold water is automatically discharged to the sewage pool. At the same time, the rising water level of the sewage pool may cause the disc motor and the self-priming pump to be submerged. Therefore, three external sewage pumps are installed in the sewage pool, and the sewage pump can be started to discharge the sewage directly to the factory total discharge treatment station.


5. During the cooling water circulation, there are losses such as evaporation and leakage. Therefore, on the west side of the cold water pool, there is a water supply pipe for the plant area, and on the east side, there is a water supply pipe for the production water in the plant area, and the electric valve automatically supplies water according to the water level of the cold pool. When the water level of the cold pool drops below the set water level, the water return valve of the plant will automatically open the feed water, and the valve opening will gradually increase from 1% to full open. If the water return valve of the plant has been fully replenished, the water level of the cold pool is still lower than the set water level. The production water supply valve in the factory automatically opens and increases the water supply, and the valve opening degree is gradually increased from 1% to full opening.


To sum up


The circulating water system separates the wastewater produced by the disc casting machine into a cold water pool after being precipitated, filtered, and cooled by mechanical ventilation. Then, according to the different requirements of the water supply pressure of the sprayer and the cooling water tank of the casting machine, the two separate independent water supply systems are used for circulation by using a partial pressure supply disc casting machine. The water recycling rate of this technology has reached 98%~99%, exceeding the latest high standard of 97.5% national rehydration utilization rate, achieving the goal of saving water and reducing emissions.
